House for Sale

We have been going like crazy trying to get our house ready to sell. Of course with two kids it seems like 2 steps forward, 1.8 steps back every day. This weekend we showed it to a labmate of Adam's who is just getting going on his house search. It was kind of like a mock run through of what it would be like to show it - we spent two days cleaning non-stop. And lots of things are already undone: smudges on the windows! cat hair on the carpet! papers here! there! everywhere! The realtor is coming over today so we'll see what final projects she recommends: painting the baseboards! cleaning out the cupboards! rearranging furniture!

But for now - I must do my dissertation revisions! What the heck am I doing blogging, anyway?! For a glimpse of how things are around here click on the Flickr widget to the right for lots of pictures.

Good luck with all the getting-ready-to-sell-prep! We're right there with you, hoping to have realtors walk through this week and find out how much we can list for. Know anyone moving to Boston???
The pics look great with all the flowers out front - you certainly have curb-appeal taken care of!

I think that if you sit and hold the baby, all the projects will be figured out ... My world only makes sense when I am looking at my children

If you really want to sell your house, you'd better create listing at any FSBO site. There are many other services on these websites that help to sell the house. You may taste this one http://forsalebyowner.fizber.com/.
